How PdfCraft Online handles your documents, account data and cookies.

PdfCraft Online ("we", "us") is an independent service operated from Germany. This policy explains what data we process when you use https://pdfcraftonline.app. Contact: support@pdfcraftonline.app.
The PdfCraft workspace and our quick PDF tools (merge, split, rotate and others) run entirely in your web browser. When you open a document, it is read from your device into the browser tab; when you save or export, your browser downloads the new file to your device.
Documents you edit are not uploaded to our servers. We do not see, store or analyse their content.
The editor may store your interface preferences (for example language or zoom) in your browser's local storage on your device.
An account is optional. If you create one, we store:
We use this data only to provide your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
Sign-up and login forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that requests come from people, not bots. Turnstile processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics.
We use these providers to run the service. They process data on our behalf:
Some providers are located in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits to public pages. We send a public page address without query strings or fragments and a fixed page label. We do not send your account identifiers, email, PDF names or document content. Automatic form and file-download measurement is disabled.
Google Analytics also counts when a visitor opens the workspace, starts a quick tool or produces its result. These events contain only a fixed tool identifier and the public page address, and require the same optional analytics permission. They do not include document names, sizes, content, selected pages or account data.
With your permission, Microsoft Clarity helps us understand interactions on public information pages. Strict text masking is enabled. Clarity does not run in the PDF workspace, the six PDF tools, sign-in pages, account settings or the administrator area. It also stays off on pages with query strings or fragments.
Vercel Speed Insights measures loading performance on a 5% sample of public visits without analytics cookies. Addresses are limited to public paths, with query strings and fragments removed. These measurements do not include document content. Local development, preview deployments and administrator activity are excluded from these analytics integrations.
Necessary cookies keep you signed in and remember your language. Google Analytics and Clarity may use optional analytics cookies only after you allow analytics. Advertising storage and personalization are disabled.
You can decline analytics and still use every free PDF feature. Reopen Analytics preferences in the footer at any time to change your choice. Declining stops optional collection; your choice is saved in local storage on your device. Withdrawing permission does not erase measurements already received by a provider.
AI features are not available yet. If we add them, they will be optional, the text you choose to send will be processed by an AI provider, and this policy will be updated before launch.
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and request data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Email support@pdfcraftonline.app to exercise these rights.
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
