Example
A scanned document has blank backs after every page. Select the blank pages and delete them in one step.
Select Pages to Remove, Not Pages to Keep
Delete PDF Pages marks the pages that should be excluded from the new file. This is the opposite of Extract PDF Pages, where selection means keep. Check the selected count and the remaining page count before processing. At least one page must remain; selecting every page does not produce an empty PDF.
Common examples include a blank scanner page, an accidental duplicate or an appendix that is not needed for a particular recipient. Read the page at full size before removing it when the thumbnail is ambiguous. Labels use positions in the file, beginning at 1, so a printed page number or an unnumbered cover may not match the thumbnail label.
Verify the Smaller PDF
The expected output page count is the original count minus the number selected for deletion. Open the result and check the page before each removed section and the page after it. This catches an off-by-one selection before you send the document. Your original PDF remains on disk, and the result download stays available until you change the selection or leave the page.
Removing a page is not the same as redacting content within a page. Information on retained pages remains in the result, and this tool does not perform a comprehensive inspection of PDF metadata or embedded objects. If you need to remove sensitive text from a page or sanitize a document, use a workflow that specifically supports and verifies that operation.
Choose Delete, Extract or Split for the Job
Delete is efficient when you want to keep most of a document. Extract is easier when you only want a few pages in one new PDF. Split makes several PDFs from ranges or individual pages. For example, remove one accidental scan from a long packet with Delete; extract two receipts with Extract; separate the packet into chapters with Split.
After changing page structure, review any forms, bookmarks, attachments and signatures that were significant in the source. Page copying is not a guarantee that all document-level behavior remains intact. Keep the original signed or archived document and give the edited copy a clear filename so that it is not mistaken for the original record.
What It Does and Current Limits
- Blank pages are not detected automatically yet — select them yourself.
- The remaining pages keep their order and quality.
